Sumitomo Heavy Industries has donated $2,000 and untallied individual employee contributions to the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Japan Club. It has also contributed to the Japanese business community fund.
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking
The bank and three group affiliates have donated over $122,000 to the New York Times 9/11 Neediest Fund and the New York Community Trust. The bank is waiving bank fees on transfers to an account established to collect relief funds, and is offering its services to help with missing persons information.
Suruga Bank
The bank has donated $10,000 from its employees in Japan to the American Red Cross and waived bank fees for transfers to the Japanese Red Cross.
Suzuki Motor
The auto company is collecting contributions and has urged dealers also to participate. The final sum is scheduled to be donated to the American Red Cross together with contributions from its affiliates and their employees. It has also supplied vehicles for rescue work.
Taiho Kogyo
Taiho Kogyo has donated $1,000 to the American Red Cross through its U.S. affiliate Taiho Corporation of America.
Taisho Pharmaceutical
Taisho has donated $170,940 to the Japanese Red Cross and is considering further activities.
Takeda Chemical Industries
The pharmaceutical company has donated $1,000,000 to the American Red Cross and is collecting and will match contributions from employees.
Takenaka
Takenaka's donation is now in planning. It is also considering support for fund-raising activities for the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New York.
Teijin
Teijin has donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross through its U.S. affiliate Teijin Holdings USA.
Terumo
Terumo has donated an undisclosed amount to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and the fire and police services. It is also collecting and will match contributions from employees.

Toho has donated $5,000 to the Japanese Community WTC Fund through its New York office.
Tokai Rika
Tokai Rika and its U.S. affiliates have donated $30,000 to the American Red Cross. Donations are also planned by the executive social club, management groups, labor unions, and employees.
